Road Trip - April 2017, Part 4
We spent almost a week in the Bay Area. Photography-wise, some of the highlights included the ferry trip from Oakland to San Francisco. I was fascinated with the contrast between the harsh lines of the docks and bridges, and the softer striations of the clouds.

I also enjoyed some hikes in the Redwood Regional Park above Oakland, along Skyline Blvd. The frequent fog in the heights must be a boon to local photographers.

The Bay Area is beautiful and interesting, but far too many people for my taste. It was time to head to less populated places...
